Mad about Scrappin April challenge

Good Morning!  What beautiful autumn weather - feels more like its still summer - we've had for another glorious long weekend.  It would be so easy to get used to 3 day weekends!!

Mad about Scrappin's April challenge is based on the following sketch by Amy Prior.

And here is my take on the sketch:

Unfortunately, when I photographed this page the colours are not a true indication of the finished product - the colours are actually much prettier!

I was lucky enough to visit my 15 year old daughter while she was on a 6 month exchange in Germany at Christmas time, and we took advantage of the close proximity of Paris.  We spent 4 magical days exploring the wonders and sites of the city of romance - it truly was a very special time that we were able to share and experience together.  At every major tourist spot, Emily had to do a selfie, which is what I have used in this layout.  There are many more selflie's too, but I'll leave them for another layout!

Products used:
12x12 chipboard
Gesso
Moulding paste
Prima crackle stencil
Bobunny, Kaisercraft & Clearly Impressed stamps
Gold embossing powder
Versamark ink
Chipboards:  Imaginarium & Kaisercraft

Black archival ink
Heidi Swapp colour shine - Teal
Lindy's stamp gang Starburst - Jack in the Pulpit Teal
Laces - purchased from LSS, Bella Paperie, Brendale
Resin flowers
Enamel hearts
Blue & white acrylic paint
Flowers: Kaisercraft & Petaloo

Thank you for stopping by and looking.  I hope you like my layout, I certainly had fun creating it!

Until next time,
Yvette x
