Once Upon a … Sketch April challenge

Happy Easter!  Hope the Easter Bunny found you all with some yummy chocolate eggs!

I thought I would enter the "Once Upon a … Sketch" challenge this month with my layout titled "Discover".  It is a little, well a lot different to the other pages that are in this challenge.

This is my take on the sketch…

It features my gorgeous little man some 13 years ago picking flowers for me from our front yard.  My journalling is on the back for Mitchell to look back on in years to come.  I wrote:

To my sweet little man Mitchell,
Having you has changed my life in so many ways, but on this particular day in November 2001, at 16 months of age, you were already showing your gentle, sweet and caring personality by picking me flowers.  You would pick one and run to present it to me saying "Mamma", then run back for another.  If that is indeed, a glimpse of the man you'll become, there is one very lucky lady out there waiting for you!
Love you to infinity and beyond.
Mum xx

    2. Yvette... what you need to do is to save your photo onto your desktop. Click on the OUAS link that Lizzy left in her comment and it will take you to the OUAS FB page... scroll down a little bit and you will see the little bar that says POST... it has a little box next to it for Photo/Video... click on that and it will come up with a box with a light grey box inside with a plus sign. Click on that and it will open up your computer. You just go to your photo and click on it and it will upload it. Hope this will help you :D

  2. This is a beautiful layout for a beautiful moment in time. I love the circle chipboard around the photo with the fence on either side. That is so clever. The lace at the bottom is gorgeous ...and the papers are perfect. It always amazes me when you look back on things your kids have done that you really do catch glimpses of the people they will become. I love this layout sweet and tender. Thanks so much for playing along with us at OUAS this month.
